Throughout the whole campaign United only lost 5, United had new players including Jaap Star who was sold for £10.75 million and Dwight Yorke, who was the top goalscorer with 29 goals throughout the season. The teams never-say-die attitude was the key to their success, the highlight was ManU’s dramatic turnaround in the Champions League final when Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjear scored in injury time to turnover Bayern Munich’s first half lead.
